Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 12 of us highlighting the “Multicolor Motif” Technique as shown on page 110 in the Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book! This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique. If you would like to start from the beginning, please visit this link for Debi's Blog. While there you will also find a listing of all participants and their blog addresses if you should get lost or want to reference a blog along the way. Let’s get started!
If you are coming from Tonya's Blog, you are on the right track!
Roxie is definitely one of my favorite paper packs!!! I am loving it! I only used one stamp, but I got a double effect with this technique!!! I inked up the stamp in Desert Sand. Then, I used the brush side of a Tulip marker to go around the words along the outside!!! I LOVE the way it turned out! Don't forget to breath on your stamp BEFORE stamping the image. This will remoisten the ink, and you will have much more success. Also, it is easier to use this technique on smaller stamps, such as words or small flowers, and the like. At least, that has been my experience. :o)
